Wine. Vino. It was not a first love for me. For much of my early drinking years, it came in a far cry behind beer, whiskey and cocktails as my drink of choice. Then one day sitting with friends and co-workers in Glacier National Park in the summer of 1999, I was handed some Washington red wine, and suddenly, wine tasted different to me. It tasted good, interesting. Then there were many wines. Many tastings. I explored Oregon wine country. Then California's, and Washington's. Wine events, both public and trade. Suddenly I was beyond hooked, and the next natural step was to start making videos. What follows is the records of wine travels. They will never end, for there is never an end to knowledge, experiences and tastes. The food and wine pairings. The regions and the people, all with their own stories.

Burgundy
One of the many great joys of the wine world is Burgundy. For many collectors and sommeliers,
it is the ultimate geeky region. For me, it was a White Burgundy-Chablis to be exact-that became
the first foray into enjoying Chardonnay. I had an opportunity to join in on a trade-only Burgundy tasting and seminar, and had the pleasure of a guided tasting from renowned Burgundian Francois Labet
